'Tegkang', the Kelabit word for rainbow, is about Hanafi, a photographer, stressed out looking for fresh inspiration, decided to take a break in a rural village in the highlands of Bario, Sarawak. He met a local girl, Rinai, who grew up there and with her help, Hanafi was able to get to know the village better. As they get closer, Hanafi and Rinai unveiled a big local secret that will change Rinai's life forever.

Director | Josh Nawan

Josh Nawan, from his roots in a small Sarawak village to graduating with a degree in Film & Animation, has built a versatile career in the Malaysian film industry. Starting as a production intern, he transitioned into freelancing, eventually becoming a seasoned producer and 1st Assistant Director for TVCs, dramas, and feature films. Beyond his technical expertise, Josh is an accomplished screenwriter; his work earned top honors at the 2013 Malaysian Short Film Script competition and recognition at the Madrid International Film Festival. He is driven by a passion to document his cultural heritage.
