Kittiphak Thong Uam is a screenwriter, actor, and director under GDH 559. They graduated from the Faculty of Communication Arts at Chulalongkorn University. They began their career behind the scenes as a casting assistant for The Screen at Kamchanod (2007). They joined the GTH writing team to write the screenplay for True Love Next Door (2008-2010 and 2014), a sitcom TV series about love and the lives of people living in an apartment. Kittiphak also worked on Stupid Cupid (2015), a show that satirized Thai soap operas. Their other project, Diary of Tootsie the Series (2016-2017), was based on the true story from a Facebook post by an LGBTQ+ member and their friends, and was Kihphak's first work as a director. In 2019, they debuted as a film director with Tootsie and The Fake, a spin-off movie of the Diary of Tootsie series. BEAUTY AND THE BEAT is their second film.
